What to bring?
You’ll need to bring your camping gear, unless you’re booking accommodation (in which case bring sheets and bedding), a cushion to sit on, a yoga mat if you want to do yoga classes, cup, bowl, plate and cutlery, comfortable clothes to dance in, a water bottle, an open heart, and plenty of dancing spirit!
As a means of keeping ticket prices low, and also another opportunity to meet fabulous people at the festival, it is a condition of all those who purchase a ticket to Dancing Ground to contribute 2hrs of their time either during, directly prior or after the event. Full volunteer positions have now closed, but keep an eye out for the next festival.
The festival kicks off on Friday evening with dinner at 6pm, and the gates open at 3pm. Come early to set your tent up and have an afternoon swim before the action starts. You’ll be checked in at Registration when you arrive and be given a program for the weekend. If you want to arrive before 3pm, you’re welcome to join in with set up, just let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
